We interviewed Japneet Gill, Human Resources Manager with Indellient, to find out more about what she loves about working with Indellient.
Can you describe the work Indellient does?
Indellient is a full-service technology solutions provider, and offers services such as custom software development and application migration solutions to a global clientele.
What’s the company culture like at Indellient?
In one word: Fun! We emphasize working hard and playing hard, and our culture consists of monthly social gatherings, birthday treats, tons of employee engagement throughout the year and celebrating our workers whenever we get the chance through activities that will put their minds at ease - and make them want to come into work everyday with a smile on their face. A nice bonus is having challenging and rewarding work and we get to work with amazing individuals every day!
What are some of your favourite parts of working with the Indellient team?
Great people who motivate you to do better, support from management to pursue your goals and the fact that there’s always a social event or fun workplace activity to participate in (currently this means company yoga and cardio sessions).
Why is the Indellient Team looking forward to taking part in T.O. Tech Gives Back?
Every year we try to focus a little bit of our time on giving back, especially around this time of the year. It gives us an opportunity to bond as a company and do some good in our community.
Do you have any advice to offer to people who are interested in working in the tech sector?
Be bold, learn from your mistakes and don’t be intimated by the big words. Also, take time to gain support and encouragement from the tech community through local events and workshops – these keep you sharp and connect you with the best and brightest minds in the industries.
What excites you about Toronto?
The fact that it’s home to a multi-cultural workforce that are bonded by their love for the city, and that it houses the best tech community and start-up culture in the world. We take inspiration from the city’s energy and take advantage of the dozens of events that occur right in our backyard.
